Grounded in the Word of God

Simply teach God’s Word, follow Jesus Christ.

Meta Church VR endeavors to deliver biblically sound messages, grounded in the Word of God. As such, we try our best to stay true to the principles established throughout the Old and New Testaments.

At Meta Church VR, we are a Bible-believing, Protestant, non-denominational Christian church. Our desire is to simply teach God’s Word, follow Jesus Christ, and help people grow in their faith through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Essential doctrines

The essentials, one by one.

While Christians may differ on secondary issues, we hold firmly to the essential doctrines of the historic Christian faith.

  1. The Bible

    We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.

  2. God

    We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, yet one God.

  3. Jesus Christ

    We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will return again in power and glory.

  4. The Holy Spirit

    We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowers Christians for godly living and service, convicts the world of sin, and glorifies Jesus Christ.

  5. Humanity and Sin

    We believe all people are created in the image of God but have sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard. Because of sin, humanity is separated from God and in need of salvation.

  6. Salvation

    We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. No amount of good works, religious activity, or personal effort can earn salvation.

    We believe that through repentance and faith in Christ, a person is forgiven, justified before God, and given eternal life.

  7. The Church

    We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The mission of the Church is to worship God, make disciples, teach Scripture, serve others, and proclaim the Gospel to the world.

  8. Baptism and Communion

    We believe water baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith and should follow a person’s decision to trust in Jesus Christ.

    We believe Communion is a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and should be observed regularly by believers.

  9. The Christian Life

    We believe Christians are called to love God, love others, grow in holiness, and live as faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  10. The Return of Christ

    We believe Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return. He will establish His kingdom, judge the living and the dead, and bring His redeemed people into eternal fellowship with Him.

  11. Eternity

    We believe every person will spend eternity either in the presence of God through faith in Jesus Christ or separated from God through rejection of His salvation.

Our approach

Keeping the main things the main things.

At Meta Church VR, we strive to keep the main things the main things. We focus on teaching the Bible verse by verse, sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and helping people develop a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.

We welcome people from all backgrounds, whether they are lifelong Christians, new believers, skeptics, or simply exploring faith. Our desire is that everyone who visits encounters biblical truth, authentic community, and the transforming love of Christ.

We are all still learning and growing, so we acknowledge that we may make mistakes too. Please bear with us in our mistakes as God is still working in us to make us more like Him.
